Since you're going mono {B} you could always just use {Evolving Wilds} or {Terramorphic Expanse} since fetches can't get {Mutavault} or {Cavern of Souls} anyway.

DeathlyFoiend

Using Evolving and Terramorphic over the other fetches is probably the dumbest thing I have heard from this forum. And I have heard a lot of dumb things from you guys.

I forgot that they come into play tapped when fetched, but you don't need to be so rude about it. Regardless, other than increasing landfall triggers, Zendikar fetchlands have very marginal benefits in mono-colored decks for the amount they cost.

Hitting land drops and thinning out your deck a bad thing? Lol. Talk about stupid

again, read what I wrote. Lands coming into play tapped. On top of that, basic lands. The other fetches give you the option to play lands untapped and can get dual lands.

because thinning the deck, having a better chance of a top deck, better vampire nocturnes plays, consistent threats, more potent chances of getting a mutavault or cavern, no going dead off of cantrips.

Really, why would you play monocolored in modern unless you're playing Merfolk? Talking about competitive here.

I like vamps! And I don't trust merfolk, there is something fishy about them!

And on a serious note, why is merfolk so competitive?

Number of lords. Blue control. Aether Vial speed. Merrow Reejerey shenanigans. Card advantage. 8 Lord of Atlantis. Phantasmal Image against midrange. Easy splash with B/W/R. Constant island walk with Spreading Seas. Need I continue to explain? Oh, it is only tier at best too. Unless you refer to legacy.

Now have the play set of thoughtseize!

Teysa karlov

Edited the taken out 2x  {Liliana of the Veil}
2x swamp

Added 4x  {Pulse Tracker}

Teysa karlov

This does well against  {Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker},  {Birthing Pod}, tokens, infect, control. Small to medium-big creatures and  combo decks

Weak agents mass removal and pro black

I don't think this deck is going to be considered favorable against any deck that doesn't mind a battle of attrition. Jund has more discard, a similar amount of kill, and better creatures. Pod has recursion and a large toolbox from which to draw answers. America has burn, answers, and {{Sphinx's Revelation}}. I think you murder the aggro matchup and it becomes a toss-up to more midrange and control decks. Tron appears to wreck you though...

Thanks for the great feed back! Any ideas how to make this deck more competative?

I'm still relatively new to modern!  I've brew lots but only played once!
