Why just EDH???
Because these in multiplayer (which EDH is often played as) are absolutely insane! This new {exsanguinate} on crack doubles however much life you'd already be stealing from each other player.

Oh ok, the funny thing is, that standard or modern, it is easy to get a one shot kill with the current cards.  Such as {Crypt Ghast}, plus {Heartless Summoning} combo.  I like card. :)
