Hey.  I just wanted to say that I checked out your videos, and I really liked the ideas that were discussed in the intro video.  Particularly the one about using cockatrice to watch both sides of a match with live commentary.  Now that cockatrice is down, is there going to be some way that you'll be able to do that?  Great idea, and good deck tech.

Checked it out.  Good tech, I also liked how he talked about dragon maze, and how it might affect the deck type.

Im thinking Danny and I can get esper control vs. his bant splash red tomorrow. This will be our first official play test video though we recorded some matches in the past that didnt see posting.

Esper control is generally favored in that matchup but that would be a great matchup to watch.

Yeah that is true. Esper control is more true to control roots than bant, so it has the edge. And it has GREAT sideboard options against control, especially in DGM. I play bant, and would love to hear commentary on the matchup, as I am always trying to become a better bantinator

Esper does have a better matchup, but 1 {Psychic Spiral} in the SB takes that advantage away. It isn't generally the end of the world to lose on a {Psychic Spiral}, because you have basically stabilized once it would pose a threat, early {Syncopate}/{Negate} on a {Farseek} sets that deck back (if they took a 2 or 3 lander, expecting the 3rd or 4th land to be off a {Farseek})

This is true. That cards is espers worst enemy.

Bant gets the benefit of {Acidic Slime} + {Restoration}, completely throw off Esper. I've walked head first into that thing too. Blowing up your blue/white source or {Nephalia Drownyard}. It can wreck havoc. That being said, I still like my chances of winning vs. Bant.
