No one is trying to rip you off. Huntmaster is high because of other formats, not just standard. He is likely to remain at a respectable price after rotation.

He's still not gonna hold all of his value. He's not a staple in any format outside of standard. Fetch lands are staples. People are always trying to trade standard staples for modern/legacy staples, and that just doesn't fly with me. Some may disagree but that is how I look at it.

Like I said he will decrease, but all cards prices are based on their use, and to some degree, rarity. But it will depend on his future use in other formats. That can always change. But trading is always a gamble if you base it solely on price.

Investing in fetches is a good idea, one that I don't regret. Eventually they will be worth oodles of money. Huntmasters won't be worth too much in the future unless they find a modern spot but mana will always be a necessity

Yeah until they get reprinted. LOL. Hopefully that won't happen anytime soon.

Nooo hopefully it WILL happen, then people won't have to spend thousands of dollars to make great decks, lol

If they get reprinted I think they'll still be $20-30 because they're needed in every single deck out there... And if they get reprinted in a standard set they'll have that value as well. Heck, they may even go up in value if they re enter standard.
