If there is already a thread for this, my apologies.
But if a creature has an aura on it and is the target of { mind control} or a similar effect, do u gain control of said creature and all auras attached to it already.

You would not control the creature, not the auras or equipment. If you steal a creature with an {Armadillo Cloak} they will still control the cloak and gain the life.

If it says "Enchanted creature gains..." Then you'd controll that ability.

What about if the aura states that the controller of the creature gains "X"?  Mind control says "take control", so you should get any abilities associated with that term.

Let's look at the wording on {Ocular Halo}:

Enchant creature
Enchanted creature has "Tap: Draw a card."
White: Enchanted creature gains vigilance until end of turn.

If you gain control of the enchanted creature, then you can activate the first ability.  However, since your opponent still controls the enchantment, only they can active the second ability.

Gotcha.  Always better to know how something works than to assume and be wrong.  Thanks

Side note. If they have a equipment on the creature it will come with said creature however on thier turn they can pay yo unequip it

Your ability to pull completely random cards to fit as a perfect example astounds me BJ.

Thanks, I'm just good with card searches I guess. 😌
