Ultra pro are junk as far as I'm concerned. In another thread I mentioned how I had 3 rip on a side shuffle. It dinged up my {Ponder}, thankfully it isn't an expensive card.

But if you ding up a revised land... We have to kill someone.

Yeah I would have to throw it out...it impacted the side of the card, I re-sleeved it and put it back in - but it was heavily marked. I was not a happy camper.

I'd always used Ultra Pro because the LGS had them cheap, and everyone I knew was using them. Never again, I don't even play Limited with them.

I've got my EDH deck sleeved with Purple Dragon Shields and KMC Perfect Fits. It's a behemoth, but that deck is nearly $2,000. The purple ones dodge that crappy worn down look the blue gets IMMEDIATELY - the foils still just lose too much luster.

My mono-blue I put into KMC Mattes, it took me almost 40 minutes to get the Perfect Fits around my {Mana Drain}, {Force of Will} and {Timetwister} (yes, I am bragging a bit)

I've tried nearly every dragon shield: purple, white, grey, clear and the new orange hold up well. Blue gets 10 thumbs down, green, red and black are miserable. It'd still trust any of them to Ultra Pro any day.

I have Blue, Red, and Gold Dragon Sleeves and have no problems with them at all. They hold up fantastic and never had a sleeve break yet.

I've been looking at picking up some white or gray ones but would like to know first from someone who owns them - can you see through the backs? I have the orange and can see the red and white mana dots on the card backs through the sleeves and it bothers me a bit.

I have all the colors you thumbs down and call miserable lol. I think they are pretty great, but I don't have any of the colors you claim are better to compare them to aside from orange ;)

True that. I dinged up a {Snapcaster Mage} when I used to use them.

I have my legacy deck in ultra pro pro-fit then KMC matte blacks. It makes the deck thick but it feels super sturdy. I do hate putting cards in the pro-fits though since you have to handle them quite a bit to get them to slide in... I almost bent a revised  {Volcanic Island} while sleeving. Any tips for getting them in safely?

Sounds like the general consensus is KMC or Dragon Shield.  Wish there was a way to start a poll.

Greg54js

which sets of sleeves do you guys use to double sleeve cards easily?

Dudecore

KMC Perfect Fits. They do fit quite well into Dragon Shields, ironically - not so well in KMCs.

A buddy of mine actually bought the Ultra Pro perfect fits, and then threw them out. They were cut to weird sizes and didnt snug the card well.
