Hello, I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the most durable and reliable sleeves for play were.  Cost isn't a factor.

Personally, I feel that the Ultra-Pro sleeves are best. The Wizards advertise them, and they never failed me. All my mates use the same kind of sleeves as well.

Maybe I had not luck but sometimes Ultra-Pro does not work for me. Quite often I have one or two sleeves with damaged side in the pack or it tears during first shuffling... I do buy only single color mattes... I will have to change to Dragon Shields...

I use a wide variety since I have too many deck, my fav are ultra pro I believe, they are generally a solid color and pretty plain, they side shuffle super nice and easy. I would have to advise against the mtg ones with the art on the back, they stick together and shuffle like crap

Partial to Dragon Shields.

Same. As far as durability is concerned, dragon shields are pretty indestructible. They show dirt as time goes on, but that's better than breaking.

My problem with them is how quickly their colour flakes/fades. I prefer Remove From Game's Perfect Fit sleeves. They only come in a few colours, but they have:
-Rounded edges (no corners to worry about bending!)
-durable threading(almost impossible to break them from shuffling!)
-Durable colour.
They are thicker than most sleeves, but they don't attract dirt and are very durable!
I suggest them. I have switched permanently to them.

I like Dragon shields and player's choice sleeves. Ultra pros seen to break easily for me

I have never seen a dragon shield fade in the year I have been using them. I have bought 3 sets of them and have barely even touched one of the sets cause the other two are still going strong and I play every fnm and most if not all other events. I even use those same dragon shields for the prerelease drafts which I attend 4-6 events at different stores during that time. I havent found a better sleeve.

Cons to them would be you have to actualy know how to shuffle effectively since they can develope a slight cling that will stick cards together if you are not a proficient shuffler. Also I have a small callus on my thumb from how often I shuffle since most all my decks do involve at least some search effects.

Rounded corners? This interests me more than it should lol

Yup! They are awesome. Hugs the card really well too.

The dragon shields are bar none the strongest sleeve around. They pick up dirt easily, don't display foils that well, and they're all cut unevenly. The white, purple and grey don't seem to have the same problem. I sleeved my cube in black, and then pulled them off - it looked horrible. I've got my legacy deck sleeved in blue, they look dirty but those sleeves are ridiculously durable.

I recently switched to the KMC Matte - they're durable as all hell, and have none of the problems Dragon Shields do. They just don't make enough colors, they come in packs of 80, and trying to put a KMC perfect fit into one is an unimaginable feat.

Silent1236

Dragon shields all the way. My KMCs have a nicer feel, but they're bending way too much when I shuffle and they seem close to breaking. My dragon shields have remained immaculate since I bought them :)

Rass

I asked the same thing before. It was 70% dragon shield 30% ultra pro. I still have to find a place to buy a bunch for cheap

Bozo_Law

I personally use Dragonshields because they are really amazing and do not break unless it is intentional. At least none of mine have for about 2 years.
