I thought {Necropotence} was 3 cmc? Can't you only search for a 2 cmc with {Dimir Infiltrator}?

I thought {Necropotence} was 3 cmc? Can't you only search for a 2 cmc with {Dimir Infiltrator}?

Vyse is right. When you search from transmute, you are still searching based on the card's CMC that you're discarding, not the transmute cost. An easy thing to mix up - good eye Vyse!

You can still transmute for {Demonic Tutor} because of 2 cmc then get {Necropotence} if you had to.

Lol {Perplex} for a {Necropotence} funny how i found that card i typed in {Perplexed} randomly found the proper transmute card haha!
