How many ways can you think of to quickly use {quietus spike} and a double strike creature to end the game in 1 attack? Got an idea from {markov blademaster} rules discussion and want to use it for ze win

Modern I assume?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that woould work. Lets say they have 20 life, you have the spike on {Fencing Ace}. You attack, no blocks. Fencing ace deals 1 damage to them (19) and the spike chips in for 10. (9) Next damage step- 1 (8) and 4 (4). It would either take more turns to pull off, or you'd need a bigger creature.

Ps- I just realized you didn't specify a certain p/t. My bad, I was thinking 1/1 double strike.

You'll never kill with division. A fresh Blademaster would need to hit an oppoment with 5 life left to kill. One that's already dealt combat damage twice (so it's a 3/3) could kill from 11.

Just cast  {Shadow Slice} and cipher it onto your  {Fencing Ace} then when it attacks you deal 1dmg they goto 8 and lose three life so theyre on 5 then the next set of damage is done 5 turns into 4 from 1dmg then they lose half theyre life going to 2 then recast the ciphered  {Shadow Slice}. Aslong as you can make the fencing ace able, it would just destroy.

How about good old fast-and-reliable {rancor}s and/or {madcap skills} for that double striker? It may not be a 1-hit-kill but it sure is a game-swayer. My standard deck is built on this, and I've thrown quite a few people off swinging for 12 on turn 3 with {Fencing Ace}. I'm very happy with the deck, and it's pretty fun to play.

From one of the earlier posts. I never realized that it takes half the health after damage. I always thought it was instead of the normal damage. The things you can learn...

Sure thing, I'll update it and bump it in the standard section for you - I called it "Nayagro Falls."
