This is a deck I have been taking to FNM I am just wondering how players think it would go in general?

I don't like {Cloudfin Raptor}, he's sort of a dead draw late game, doesn't evolve your creatures and is susceptible to easy removal.

I am not familiar enough with Simic to suggest a replacement, maybe {Wolfir Avenger}? Gives you a flash blocker and something to evolve with. Also dodges {Supreme Verdict} with regeneration, which is the absolute bane of Simic players.

So took this to FNM last night ended up coming first out of 30+ players very happy with how it performed

Made some changes I have put in 2 {Unsummon} over {Curiosity}, I have taken out {Plummet} in the sideboard and upped  {Negate} to 4

FNM update: so the deck hasn't changed all that much and is still proforming ok it has taken FNM 1st once and 2nd twice now but I feel I could get more out of it but I am at the end of my ability to do it so any ideas to maybe make the deck a little smother would be great.

Thanks all for our time.

 {Master Biomancer} makes no card a late game dead card

iTzTowelie404

Seems like ur not evolving ur creatures enough.  They max at 3/3 or 3/4 at best, maybe a late game bomb is in order, like the previously mentioned {Master Biomancer}

Almosteric

 {Master Biomancer} seems like a given in any simic deck, and in my opinion after rotation you'll see a lot more of him destroying the field.  Also consider {Forced Adaptation} and  {Bioshift} to move counters around and off your undead.  .my 2c.

Talock

I do like the idea {Master Biomancer} mainly cos I love the art it is one of my favorite card art plus he could be a boss in the deck, my only concerned is he is 4mc I have the worst luck when it comes to mana and that is one reson why this decks highest mana cost is 2 but I will give it a go and see how he fits thanks for the input.

I don't like {Forced Adaptation} only because there is a lot of creep hate in my meta but I will have to try {Bioshift} I totally forgot about this card and it mana cost is on base with the deck so thanks for that its another cool combat trick :)

Almosteric

No problem good sir.
Yea,  if decide to run biomaster (strongly encouraged) you need to be running 23 land to hit the {2}{G}{U} and maybe a set of arbor elves and the underrated mana fixer  {Realmwright}

The main thing I think I need help with is how to deal with Junk rites and espar control, these decks just seam to to be the hardest match ups for me mostly rites they just always have me on the back foot and that odd for this deck

Almosteric

Well I'm a rites players and honestly I can say I would destroy this deck. Haha. Pretty much the only thing you can do is run a full suite of counters and wraths.  {Dissipate}  {Supreme Verdict} and what not. Although, with the large amount of undying you should be able to maintain board position after wipe.  Also things like  {Cyclonic Rift} {Arrest} and Other bounce effects can slow down the renimator.
Hope this helps.

I really want to play {Strangleroot Geist} in SOMETHING before rotation, he's such a bastard 😁

I've been thinking the same!
