Well. She got asked out, by the guy I thought would ask her out. She felt the need to talk to me before replying for some reason. She said she likes him and was planning on saying yes even before talking to me. So I don't know what she was planning on accomplishing.

It seems like my life is doing what I have to or should do instead of what I want to. Whenever my fate is in my own hands I just let it slip by. I think I do like her and I was just trying to convince myself otherwise. But instead I'll just tell her to get with that other guy because he has his life on track and I don't. Besides,

You've got a long while to fix your life if it's really a mess. Sometimes all you need is a fresh perspective. If you look at a pile of .poo. long enough thinking it's just a pile of .poo. then all it will ever be is a pile of .poo.. A change in perspective is viewing that pile of .poo. as fertilizer for something new to grow from.
