Nonbasic Lands: What's Next?

I'd like to see something like the filter lands from oddyssey

Not even close in power. Those ones are such a massive tempo setback that I omit them from any deck that can't abuse them.

There are rumors floating about that there may be a reprint of the onslaught fetch lands so modern players will have access to them. Now, they will never have both fetch lands and shocks in standard at the same time, so it won't happen until after RTR rotates out (at the earliest if at all) but here's my theory. We will eventually return to zendikar, no sooner than fall 2014. When we do, perhaps it will feature the onslaught fetch lands in place of the original zendikar fetch lands, which have likely been ravaged by the Eldrazi at this point.

That would be awesome solely for the fact that I (most likely) wont have to pay $60 a pop for {polluted delta} when i get more serious about legacy. But it also wont be awesome looking at the investment side of playing legacy.

Yes but have to return a land and it comes in tapped. I guess I should have explained a little more.

Why wouldn't they have the fetch lands and shock lands in standard at the same time?

If both are standard players can sac the fetch and get a shock and then play dualies like {sun petal grove} without any problems, making 3 color decks have extremely possible mana fixing.

Will Modern Masters solely be reprints of cards in the modern frame?

If so, then the Onslaught fetches will not be in Mosern Masters.
