But how sweet would it be to exile  {Avacyn, Angel of Hope} the. Release her from the  {Helvault} *add explosion sounds*

Iandtormentor

What is this land called "city of ravnica"?

Back in my day, this thread was about the mythic land rumor...

Did someone hold your eyes open and force you to read the {Helvault} discussion?

I was just making a joke >.<

Anyway, about the DM land:
I'm really, REALLY hoping that Wizards decides to change its ability. Sure, a win-con land is awesome, but when it's not very realistic to pull off, then what's the point of it?

Oh, and the land should be able to turn into a creature, so that it can be compatible with {Helvault}.

Hahah I didn't mean anything malicious by that.

Yeah im not too excited about this land if that is, indeed, what it'll do.

It's alright man, I'm just way too used to malice on the Internet XD

But this whole situation really begs the question: Is this really what Wizards considers a mythic land?
It looks to me like a cute little flavor card that they decided to make based on the expansion's name. I can't see the practical use of it, since gates are still just land drops (Ten gates = ten turns of ETB tapped lands, less with {Urban Evolution} shenanigans). I mean, what does the community think when they hear "mythic land", because I'm thinking of something way different.

Birdbrain

Maybe give the land an actuall feel of being a maze? Instead of the half-baked attempt to make it feel like a maze

I was expecting something that exiled a creature as it entered the battlefield, then added mana to your mana pool equal to a color of said creature.

Something like that or a {city of brass} effect is more feasible to me. I don't see a practical use in this card either. Even though decks have slowed down considerably due to rotation, a T10 win going off without a hitch is so very unlikely. You're always one turn behind your opponent via all of your lands entering tapped. Maybe, MAYBE, in a turbo fog application it could work. But even then, TFog needs the available mana to do its thang.

But then again, maybe next block it'll prove to be a sleeper. Just look at Omnidoor Thragfire.

Definately. There's alway "that guy" who'll figure out exactly what kind of deck to use it in, and how to use it. All I can say is that I genuinely still have some hope for this card.

*sighs* Just like I still have hope for {Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded} in Standard....

I wish I had the time and resources to research and play test like crazy so I could be "that guy" :(
