What I crazy night - I regret to say I failed miserably (6 match losses out of 7 matches, each one because of mana screw/flood - worst luck I've ever had) but my friends and I still had a blast on the road trip as a whole. 100% worth it.

Well as longa s you had fun :) just curious, what did u play? Also what did u win against?

I played a Naya aggro home brew - ill post it under standard later. The deck itself is fun, and when I play tested it I never had mana problems like that (23 lands, so why would I, right?)

The deck I beat was a bant midrange - {Thragtusk}s, {Restoration Angel}s, and {Geist of St Traft}. It couldn't keep pace with my aggro, especially 2nd round after I'd sideboarded in the {skullcrack}s for thragtusk.

There were a TON of control decks around. Lots of America Control especially, decent amount of esper

Should have played RDW, you would have won ;)

Even RDW needs more than 2 land :P mana screw on a legendary level, every match but one, dropped after the 7th match and my battered spirit was totally broken lol

That really sucks!  Mana screw is the most infuriating part of this game.  At least you had fun!  That's the important part! :)
