I kind of like how this deck came out. It's not turbo fog...turbo fog is dead right now. It's a fog-based walker control/midrange deck.

I forgot to add a shuffle-back type effect. I should add it in the sb at least, against drownyard.

Thoughts?

Good question.

While gideon is bad in most decks, he shines in a fog based deck, against all decns but hardcore control, in which case I will side him out probably.
He works well because when he hits, he goes to 6-8 counters usually. Your opponent either gets 1 hit on him (but can't kill him) or ignores him and attacks me, which is fine. After that Ican either fog (I run 12 fog effects) until he ultimates; or I can fog until I run out of fogs, and boardwipe. He has tested pretty well.

Against control, I will side out all 3 and put in 1 more jace MA and alao add counterspells. I will also take out some fogs for counters.

I like the idea...  I like the deck... Only I would use also  {Garruk Relentless}... But guess no need dor him...;)

Why the moon mist ?
Cheap fog.
{safe passage} is soooooo much better.
Safe Passage is good but it does not prevent damage to plainswalkers.

And on gideon, I like the relentless, but he is for more creature-based decks. {Garruk, Primal Hunter} is awesome because he can -3 after I turn gideon into a creature for massive CA

Wally

How come no {Tamiyo, the Moon Sage}s?

Seth5000

I played someone using a deck like this on cockatrice and I was using a Esper control and I completely murdured him his gideon got to 12 then he ran out of damage removals and I killed his gideon with Obzedat and silverblade paired next turn I hit him for 32 damage total he died and my life was at 83

Coffee Vampire

Wally: good idea, as soon as I can trade for one she will go in. Tamiyo is perfect for this.

Seth: Congratz on your win. Thanks for reminding me of the most problematic card against this deck: obzedat. I think I will have to edit the sb to put selesnya charms in. Obzedat is a beast lol

Wally

Also you should run the new extort enchantment that makes stuff entered tapped.
{Blind Obedience}

Coffee Vampire

Hmm you may be on to something. I'll try it in place of farseek. Farseek puts me 1 turn ahead...so if obedience buys me a turn, it's pretty much the same, except it is also a useful mana sink for when I fog.

If that doesn't work out, at least it's a good sb card. :)
