That's what I got from reading the article too. Random buddy guild sharing 1 colour from the alternate released set.

It could be random; however, cards have linked guilds together (ex:  {Spark Trooper} linking izzet and boros), so it would be a shame if they just threw random guilds together, in my opinion, due to the conflicting flavor (ex: boros could be joined with rakdos, but boros hates rakdos)

Yeah, my buddy's and I were talking that they are going to create wedges with the storyline, but you're correct right now it's worded so that they are random, although I don't believe that it will be. I'd hate to get Rakdos - Dimir or something stupid like that. I would think Rakdos will be paired with Gruul most likely, but that's Jund, so it doesn't go with my theory.

I can only think that there is going to be a huge CF and that parts of certain guilds are going to leave to join the wedges that are created.
I pulled these named (I've never heard them before) from the Salvation Wiki
(Dega) - Rakdos, Orzhov and Boros
(Ceta) - Gruul, Simic and Izzet
(Necra) - Selensya, Orzhov and Golgari
(Raka) - Azorious, Izzet and Boros
(Ana) - Dimir, Golgari and Simic

I guess it would kind of work out with the core of a guild making up part of the wedge, and then other parts of the opposing two guilds, 1 quarter would go one way, and one quarter the other....

Of course, this would probably lead into something huge in the next block, and to the best of my knowledge I don't think they've ever really followed 2 blocks together that would fit so closely in the story line like that.

I don't think people would complain too much though, as this would be f'in awesome lol....

It excites me and I'm usually a mono red player, so I can't imagine how exciting it would be for some of the people who casting big multicolor spells (or as I call it, cheating the spirit of magic lol)

From what I gathered, your secret guild could be any guild that shares a color with the guild of your choice, and it's not the same for everyone. Like if you choose Simic, you could also get Azorius, or maybe Gruul.

Sounds like a nightmare to organize. It's hard enough to organize for 5 guilds. Now all 10 and a maze (a big object similar to the Helvault prerelease for Avacyn Restored)

Avacyn Prerelease had objectives to reach, everyone during their matches would keep score and then once more and more of these achievements were reached, the helvault would open and everyone gets dice, token cards and oversized commander cards.

This sounds like everyone will be playing all 10 guilds, and then "work together" to get through the maze I.E reach objectives to get to the end of this maze object for prizes. It seems like a lot to do.

I think the mythic land will be a legendary land that comes into play untapped  and can add two mana of the same color but when u tap it you lose 1 or 2 life. It is a super shock land.

LoL that is kind of a raw deal. I hate those stupid oversized cards. I don't even know why they make them

I normally just put a proxy card in for those oversize cards. I tell me opponents in advance that is I have an Innistrad flip placement card in there, it takes the place of the oversized card.

At avacyn restored release the used oversized angel and griselbrand cards as additional prizes. I got 3 oversized cards and I sold them on eBay for $30. It was sweet because that covered the cost of my entry. :)

I got a Gisela and held on to her. I don't use her, but I like having it.
