Apple may be a bit forward with the way he comes off as a player and with his advice, but his advice hasn't been without the intent of helping people improve, which it has I believe.

I'm also going to agree with apple and prophylaxis on this one, not that you shouldn't play a pod deck I love the basis of them and would really like to play one, but with those cards alone there is easily a lot of hate to remove or stop a pod quite quickly. Maybe where you play though you are able to overcome it like you said which is excellent! But I believe for a majority of people it's not so easy to play a pod deck without some hate

That's true, there isn't a whole lot of hate against my deck where I play, considering a lot of people are playing esper colors and I am the only pod player.

I know. I used to run pod back in the day {Priest of Urabrask is sick tech}, but the hate just made me switch to Architect.

Not doubting you or anything but doesn't that also run high amounts of artifacts? Then again it's not like there is one central arti that the deck revolves around.

It has answers to the answers. {Wurmcoil Engine} and {Negate} are things that come to mind.

Have you considered running {Turn Aside}? It doesn't fit the color scheme of the deck but it might be helpful at protecting your 'pod.

Don't take this the wrong way guys but I feel like a blind person with a bunch of people surrounding him asking him of he needs help. {Glissa, the Traitor} brings back pod if something is to happen to it. I'll have to see next FNM if I run into any {Grafdigger's Cages} but my an packs mega answers as well as my mainboard

Nevertheless, I like the pod list. Tell us what your results are on Friday! :)

I like how much quoting is happening here.
For every color there are things to kill pod. WoTC purposely created it so that pod decks don't run wild. I would watch out for many things, not just artifact removal, but creature removal as well.
Turn aside is not competitive at all, since it requires you to wait until your opponent plays a spell to target your creature in order to use turn aside and hope to feel clever inside. You may as well run mana leaks, negates, dissipates, they are all more suitable. Not only can they save yor creatures, but they can also essentially eliminate threats from your opponent as well.
I would suggest not running jund but run RUG. It used to be a huge hit in the old standard, and it still contained much of the materials needed to make it function most efficiently.
