{Markov Blademaster} when this creature deals combat damage put a +1/+1.

My question is.

She has Double Strike so does that mean she gets a potential +1/+1 counter for her first strike and a potential +1/+1 counter for her regular strike as well since she is hitting twice. Or just 1 counter?

2 instances of combat damage = 2 +1/+1 counters.

Based on your phrasing, I just want to emphasize: the damage must be dealt to a player, and a blocked double-strike creature deals no combat damage to a player, even if the first hit kills the blocking creature (unless it has trample).

I am aware of that. Thank you

To answer your question. If it is unblocked it will hit (first strike attack) for 1 - adding 1 counter onto the vampire. Then it will attack (normal attack) as a 2/2 dealing 2 damage and gaining a second counter. Dealing a total of 3 damage while gaining 2 counters. It will leave the vampire as a 3/3 at the end of the turn.
