Do u guys believe that artist signed cards raise or lower card value?

Ik its an opinion, but for the most part, would you trade more? Or less for a signed card?

Personally i believe once the card is signed, it shouldnt really be traded. It seems weird to me to have a signed card that you didnt get signed.

Alt arts i believe always raise the price, signings though can go either way unless the artist no longer works for wizards making it impossible to get more signatures. In those cases the price should definately be higher.

Signed cards go like this for me:
Junk common/uncommon: no added
Junk rare: no added
"Money" rare: I add $5
"Money" mythic: I add $7

For a junk signed rare I'd give +$1

Look up which artists will be there and then search by artist in gatherer to see if they did any of your favorites. Do remember that promos and regulars are usually different artists and you dont want to look like an idiot handing a promo {sheoldred, the whispering one} to felix. The guy in front of me did that when i got my {creeping tar pit} playset signed.

Also dont give them a stack, these guys have to sign tons of things in one weekend and often damage their rist doing so. Pick your favorites, or most sentimental cards and stick to those.

Yeah, i have. Steve argyle is one of the ones who will be there. Do u think having him sign my 4 deathrite shamans, 4 bloodbraid elfs, and 3 lilly otV would be to much?

Not at all. This past GP I went to most ppl were getting 20 plus cards signed. I think 11 is a good number.

Bring them all see what other people are doing and ask nicely if he would mind and give him a complement before asking.

My friend has a Lilliana signed and a playmat signed
I so wanted a mat, but i did manage to trade for a playset of lili's just before GP Salt Lake and get them all signed. They're now on my front page. My teammate managed to get a page of foil {chosen of markov} signed by both the artist and the model who sent a little innocent love letter back with Argyle when he picked them up the next day. Though she has a signifigant other, she found him funny and wished him luck with the ladies, not that he needed much.
