Nope we were playing and he targeted a {Doom blade} that was in the graveyard. I asked him what the hell r u doing. Thats when he told me that

He probably doesnt understand the stack. Many newer players beliee cards go from your hand to their respective zone with nothing in between. It is important to realize that all non land cards pause on the stack before hiting the graveyard or field.
