Let's start with simple questions.

What is your deck?
Its a persist build

I'm assuming you have Melira in there, yes? Adding {Aerie Ouphes} can actually kill Emmy through repeatedly sac'ing itself.

I think {Brittle Effigy} might be one of your best bets. {B} gives you the option of land killing, which could also be effective, since the Urza lands really depend on each other to be effective. If you want to go less direct ways of getting rid of him {Praetor's Grasp} or {Sadistic Sacrament} could get the job done, if the timing is right. {Sudden Spoiling} is a nice way to shut him down for a bit, and makes him easy to kill. I ran a deck very similar, except more based off {Cloudpost} and {Vesuva}. Each land is real important, so I'd at least try out the land destruction, and if it doesn't work, try another way. He's nasty for sure, but not invincible!

Okay thanks! I'm going to SB {Aerie Ouphes}, {Surgical Extraction}, and {Battle Effigy}!

{Oblivion Ring} and {Brittle Effigy} get rid of Emrakul. Apparently O-ring gets past his protection because of the way it's worded.
It is not because of the way it is worded, it is because the spaghetti has protection from spells(I.e. the stack), not from permanents. So, your oring doesn't even care.

Ohh okay. I thought it was because of the whole etb thing, as opposed to saying "exile target whatever" like {Unmake} does. Thanks for clearing that up!
It is. As the etb means he targets when he is a permanent already, not when he is a spell on the stack. The spaghetti only cares about something in the stack

If his deck hard casts his emrakul and doesn't have many tutors,  {Big Game Hunter} is nice and versatile. Emrakul sure is a big game

In modern that prevents cards being exiled or will stop his {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn}?
I use {phyrexian metamorph} in my legacy deck.

{Karakas} should be legal in modern. I might like the format more if it were.
