In modern that prevents cards being exiled or will stop his {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn}?

Silent1236

I'm not very wise on things like this, but I've found {Icy Manipulator} and {Trip Noose} to be a real hinderance when I drop a spaghetti man.  Not a very good solution, but hey, it's cheap lol. ::)

Keyeto

{Oblivion Ring} and {Brittle Effigy} get rid of Emrakul. Apparently O-ring gets past his protection because of the way it's worded.

Damn, I didn't even notice that about o ring.  Well, Emrakul seems a whole lot less invincible...

Langku

 {Tajuru Preserver}. Take that eldrazi!

It is not because of the way it is worded, it is because the spaghetti has protection from spells(I.e. the stack), not from permanents. So, your oring doesn't even care.

Ohh okay. I thought it was because of the whole etb thing, as opposed to saying "exile target whatever" like {Unmake} does. Thanks for clearing that up!

I just always lose to this deck that uses a bunch of Urza's Tron Lands ({Urza's Tower}) to get out spaghetti man and {Karn Liberated}

{W}/{R}  Land hate and anti-permanent denial maybe? {Sundial of the Infinite} + {Flickerwisp} or {Glimmerpoint Stag} to deny him of what he needs, and exile it forever. Use red for {Splinter Twin} and land destruction. White offers {Oblivion Ring} and {Journey to Nowhere} to deal with Emmypoo. I dunno if that would work or not, but its a fun deck. In any case, figure out what cards are the biggest problem, and built to either deny that card from killing you, or stop it from being able to be cast.

Uno problemo, my deck is {B}{G}. Probably should have mentioned that

You might have to just make a new deck if your current one is not a good matchup vs your friend.

Let's start with simple questions.

What is your deck?
