Thats the logical decision. I sell stuff on ebay based off the average price on TCG and it ALWAYS sells. Listed two {vraska, the unseen}s for $22 and got $22 on each one. Listed {blood crypt} for $12 and got $12 for it. Theyve since gone down and up respectively since i sold them, but not by much.

Personally, to me all this sounds like is you didn't get what you wanted from a trader and now you are upset and raging about it. As long as you use the same pricing it doesn't really matter regardless of new or not. You are almost sounding childish by complaining that someone didn't value the cards the same way you did.

Not at all I got yelled at because I told someone a card was not near what they wanted for it so that's why I said people should do there homework and find a better price guide for the new set.

Lol someone yelled about a price. I break it down like this. I'm trying to get the best value for my cards and the least amount for yours. And the other person is doing the same. Then you neigoate price back and forth until you both agree. No hard feelings should happen IMO its just business don't take it personal.

When its a buck or two I agree but not over ten or more

What I thought this app values my cards higher than everyone else's, darn!

If all you have is rtr then yeah it does.

Ummm as long as two people use the same pricing format such as TCG, it doesn't matter. Because both their items are priced using that same source. If they over price or lower price, it still comes out even because both ends of the trade are equal that way when using the same source.
I use the average price provided here. I've never has an issue and if u check Amazon u can find most prices equate.
eBay, people can sell for whatever  they want to and bid however they want. This is far more stable.

Never have had a problem. I like having even deals where both people get why we need and using this has been a fine way to do it and is comparable to LGS and Amazon so, for me, it works.

Yeah if you aren't using the built in card price feature for trading, IMO, you're either being a complete @$$ or you're just being dumb. It's right there people. Use it for crying out loud.

I like the average price on here because it takes a large sample of prices. That way the highs and the lows are balanced out and you get a good idea of what you'd have to pay for a particular card in relatively good condition. On the point of RTR cards though, of course there will be fluctuation, but it goes both ways. If I had traded $20 worth of legacy cards for a  {Jace, Architect of Thought} when they first came out I'd be stoked right now, even though in the long run the legacy cards may hold their value, I could still sell the Jace for double what I traded for it. I dunno, I think as long as people agree (or disagree) to a trade, there's no problem.

I give up trying to explained this to you people enjoy all the money you will lose in  future.

Very few cards will retain their value after rotating out of standard. That is a given. People pay or trade a premium for being able to get whatever card is hot in the tourney circuit, so fluctuation is inevitable. Once something better comes along or the new hot deck pops up, prices on some cards will rise and others will fall. That's part of the game... You can't expect someone to not try to trade for what they could sell a card for in cash because it'll probably go down someday.

I feel like I'm the only one who uses "potential trades" on here.

Again it's all realtive. A buck or two on a fifty cent card? Some people put stuff up for trade because its a hot item and they want to cash in. Look at all the lgs with the ftv realms. I just would say don't take it personally they are just trying to get the best deal for them. If you don't agree say no and on to the next one. Please feel free to try to explain your side if you think we are missing something. This is all just a discussion where we can even agree to disagree.

Also I am playing a little devils advocate.
