Primeval Titan Banning

What is everyone's opinion of the banning of {Primeval Titan}? I for one am kinda happy. Few reasons:

1 - He's in every deck that is at least splashed green. He's an auto-include.

2 - His ability to thin out your deck is rediculous. Ramp decks by some estimation amount to 75% of all EDH decks, probably for good reason.

3 - He is an extremely powerful presence. If you control him, usually everyone tries to steal him, if you kill him someone tries to reanimate him.

And if you've never kicked {Rites of Replication} on a {Primeval Titan} then you've never lived.

{Worldfire} is a lot of fun to see happen, but really it boils down a game from being an epic battle spent accounting for so many different variables and making it "40 life is now 1".

Agree 100% with you about prime time. He had it coming.

Worldfire I agree with the banning simply because Worldfire doesn't empty mana pools and that means your commander is a free card in hand that Worldfire can't exile.

I feel that {Kokusho, the Evening Star} should have stayed banned, though. He will now fall under the same problems that prime time did for green - he will be in every black deck. He will be reanimated and abused like crazy. And if you kick a rites of replication on him, you don't just get crazy advantage like with prime time, you flat out win when they legend rule each other and all die.

I get primeval titan ban now that i've heard most of you guys oppinion about him but im still confused why other more op cards remain unbanned.

And i dont really feel like worldfire is seriously threatening in Edh.
You'd have to pull of a combo making it instant and putting burns under it on the stack to make it work right away. And if you dont cast it without help thats alot of mana. Even if you ramp would you be able to cast your commander too? (that might have died a few times). In that case you give the advantage to your opponents who may have enough lands ready to cast their commander. But tbh i havent seen it in action so i cant pass judgement.
Id think it'd be pretty fun and exciting if it suddenly became sudden death ;D

Three words about Worldfire:

{Norin the Wary}

Edit: wait, Norin exiles when he himself attacks too, doesn't he?  Damnit, so close!  Oh well, no need to combo Worldfire anymore anyway, it's gone lol
