I knew that most of you are guys and may not be able to help with this. But I want to have something magic themed at my wedding, it's not going to happen for a couple of years but it still doesn't hurt to plan ahead. Anyway, we both love magic and want to integrate it into our wedding somehow without it being cheesy or over the top. Any ideas would be super helpful.

Selesnya theme I think would look good. Just look at the art for some of those cards. Have the wedding party dressed like that, decorated like that. Would be nice. And Ravnica guild center pieces. Bouquet of black lotus'

I like the {Black Lotus} idea haha.

Why not table favors? A booster per person & Invite me ;)

Or you could use the symbols for guest placement. A red mountain symbol for one table, a green forest for the next. . .

And what about your favorite decks for the color scheme. White blue green would be beautiful!

I'm totally going to plan my wedding right now too. Though ill make it so only people who play will see all the magic around. To other people it would just be so pretty!

...ok guys, I'm sorry. I've given up my man points for the month...

You know what would be cool if you fiancé  got you a ring with all the mox gems on it and a diamond in the middle

It's ok. Everyone knows there are no girls on the Internet.

You should tell us if you're thinking a full-on Magic theme or just accents to a real theme and if so, what the main one is.

Black lotus bouquets are surely a nice, subtle decor that still lets you have a relatively traditional/guest-friendly wedding. Pretty clever idea.

And as a baker I can say that there's a LOT you can do with cakes. Even if you want a traditional wedding cake for the reception, the rehearsal dinner the night before is wide open to custom, wild cakes and decorations. Hell, you could even make a cake a giant {lotus petal}. If you're anywhere near Maryland, you could call up the real pros at Charm City Cakes in Baltimore and they will make you the piece of a lifetime. I love those guys. I miss their show.

Congrats btw ;)

SHUT THE FFFFFRONT DOOR!!!!

No but congrats and that is super cool.  I think making flower bouquets out of "flower themed" magic cards would be pretty cool.  Just please don't go cut up {black loti} to do it.  You could tell him you want a {black lotus} instead of a ring lol....they cost the same 😁

You should have a sign at the entrance saying "Please wait here, you have summoning sickness"
