Apparently I'm going to FNM this weekend, so I decided to make my turbo fog deck standard for (I'll insert the emote when I get to my iPod :P ) and giggles.  Really could use some feedback because while I'm not planning on destroying everyone with this deck, I wouldn't mind doing ok.  I'm trying to keep it budget-ish (no snappies, White sun's zenith instead of entreat, etc).  If I do go, this will be my first FNM, so I'm kinda more interested to see what people around here play rather than winning :P

Search "turbo angel" in standard. Ive been doing well with itthe last couple weeks.

As for this i need to say 4 {safe passage} no if ands or buts about it, even though it doesnt save walkers it saves you and you can {elixir of immorality} the walkers later. Also i like the sphinx atlas interaction, but one of the strengths of this deck is the fact it doesnt have creatures, dont give them something to use their dead cards on.

I do not understand how turbo fog wins

I'm taking a mill approach, but a lot of times I see {Entreat the Angels} or I'm using {White Sun's Zenith} as a bit of a late game last resort deal.

I don't really like {Safe Passage} or {Clinging Mists} because of the 3 CMC.  I've played a couple games where I had one of those in my hand with 2 untapped lands.  Granted, that is also a result of me being an idiot and not thinking that through :P   So never mind, I just pointed out my own problem lol.

So are you saying drop the Sphinx and the Atlas' or just the sphinx?

Willthomjr

Safe passage stops burn.

Primarily {bonfire of the damned}

If you don't have your land drop every turn, you need 24-25 lands.

Willthomjr

Decks that get away with 20 lands

Elfs
Goblins
Delver UW

Most decks need 22-24

I like the Sun Titans in it, but I don't like having much of, if any, a creature base in a turbo fog deck.  Just a personal preference, not saying it is better or worse or anything :P   I've actually thought about using O rings and I don't know if I want to maindeck the Elixirs or not.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted :P  Thanks for reminding me though! :D

I like t2 {rites of flourishing} see birds
Sun Titan to bring stuff back
Snap caster because he brings back all of your spells. I've snapped a terminus.

Yeah, the birds def may be something I should consider.  The biggest problem with Sun Titan and Snapcaster is I don't have them :P   I would definitely like to include Snapcaster at least in this.  Just don't feel like spending the money on them at the moment.
