after reading this entire thread, I thought deeply on the subject of this controversy, and I have concluded... WtF.
._. I am deeply disturbed by the fact that grown men like this, I mean I don't hate you guys, it's just like, Really? Pink ponies? guys, seriously? why is this even a thing? from where did this originate? who started this? why does this exist? how is this show entertaining to you guys at all? I just don't get it at all...

Well after watching this show a few times because it has peaked my intrest.  I have concluded this.

It is OK.

It is not good, however it is not bad.

@IceScythe I saw this a little through the episodes, it is liked because of the adult jokes in it that are hidden.  Plus they like the characters.

My personal opinion is that while the adult jokes are funny at times, that is all it is riding on.  The characters aren't really developed for me.  And I am quite a critic when it comes to shows and movies.  When a show only rides on adult jokes, it should be destined to fail everytime.  Then again we still have Family Guy around, but that is besides the point.

I don't see why people like the characters, can someone please explain. :/

Not trying to argue or anything, but fluttershy is totally the best, she flaps her wings like once every 5 seconds and can stay afloat, that is what I like to call levitation.
