InfinitiveDivinity

I truthfully have yet to create this deck, I'm missing a few key peices. As it is now, the deck has only gone through minimal changes, most of which occurred due to my painstaking nitpicking of my sideboard. I created the original version of this list back when Innistrad came out and I first learned of Lilly, The Bloodline Keeper, and Olivia. The Bloodline Keeper was my true inspiration, all because it reminds me so much of my old friend Vampire Nocturnus. After my girl pulled a Lilly at the ore-release, my mind was set, sadly we never purchased a box, but soon I will obtain the missing parts.

InfinitiveDivinity

This deck has tons of synergy, the closer you look, the more you find. For example, the inclusion of Gut Shot makes dealing with illusions much easier, as well as it's main goal, guarunteeing the Bloodthirst trigger on my Bloodlord, or any 1 drops that follow him. The Volt Charges are all stars in this deck due to the fact that EVERY creature can obtain a counter, in multiple ways, and it assists me in pumping up my Lilly for another "Gatekeeper" sac. That's what I see her as in this deck, a re-usable Gatekeeper, maybe not the most conventional use, but I miss my old friends. Bump in the Night also adds a pain-free discard for her if I choose a hand-mill strat instead. Vampiric Fury, I've found through proxy playtesting, adds a very left-field battle tech. when striking with a Neonate, It's the only reason they have made it this far, (Batterskull anyone?) The Sideboard is pretty spoken for, Ancient Grudge is the nuts, shuts down any artifact based strat, hence the inclusion of Rootbounds. The second Bloodlord is needed in a "mirror", or simply just against RDW. And the Metamorphs can be ANYTHING, their versatility makes me shiver. (ANY Vampire lord, any opposing threat, even Batterskull =] Yes, I really hate that card, and my meta has plenty) Dismembers and GFTT's for aggro, or maybe even just doom blade swap-outs if playing any Black deck. Act of Aggresions for THEIR turn battle tech. or creature based aggro. And the rest is pretty obvious. Any thoughts?

I am not a big fan of {bump in the night} since the player is not dealt damage it does not help with bloodthirst....... {tezzeret's gambit} would fit well tho

InfinitiveDivinity

Trust me I've thought of using the Gambit, it's just hard for me to let Bump go, I like the little card. Maybe drop 'em, and throw in 2 Gambits and 2 Vampire Interlopers? Oh, and I'm kinda new to this, how do you hyperlink card names?

Prophylaxis

Drop {Bloodcrazed Neonate} for {Stormblood Berserker}.

InfinitiveDivinity

I'm currently running RDW, I love Berserkers, it's just that they aren't vampires. I really like the Neonate, and berserkers won't get the late game boost from the Bloodlord, it can also make Vampiric Fury useless.

I agree with that as well. Since I made the trade out I have had some nice combos with a t2 {stormblood beserker}

Then again, Olivia can make him one, but that's a little too much. Idk, I'll think about it.

The Neonate nor the Interloper can't block. Berserker gets in for evasion and can block.

I know, ahhh! He is really good. I'm gonna have to mull it over.

Man, I love this deck! I have one just like it that is still in 'post production' too. However, I am unlucky enought to miss out on pulling bot a Bloodlord and a Lili. 😭 You seem like you invest yourself in the deck / building process as much as me, the addition, exchange or removal of one card can take days to analyze and strategize. ðŸ˜,
