How big is his lip that it's making a shadow like that?   The light source is his hand, just go by the shadow of his cowl on his face.  He's not bottom-lit.

Now, the lower lip soul patch could possibly be a shadow, I'll concede that.  But MAN, surely you can see it when it's blown up like that.

It really looks like a closed mouth and a stach but if you follow the line of the mout all the way from the side you'll notice it.
