Surprised no one has said {Skullclamp} yet.

D3g3n

{Tinker} ranks up there. Would need to pair up with a Hexproofed {Blightsteel Collosus} or sone other powerful artifact.

{force of will}
it isn't as broken as the others because it makes you lose card advantage. Yes, broken, but not as much to be one of the most

{Necropotence}, {Tinker} and P9 are OP.

BlackJester

The most broken card in the history of all of MtG:

🌟{Blacker Lotus}🌟

Literally broken (well ripped). 💩

Thorn

My vote goes to {Brainstorm}
Probably not the most broken but it is up there.

{NECROPOTENCE}!!!!!!!

I dont get why its so good

Turn 1, {dark ritual}, {Necropotence}. You may now draw whatever you want. Card advantage is good, yo :P

That reminds me. {Dark Ritual} is pretty bonkers in my opinion

1 card >> 1 life
Especially in a color that has life gain.

To understand why {Necropotence} is so good, you have to undersfand why card advantage is so importanf. Assume two players have the exact same deck and both players have the same skill level. In order to increase your chance of winning, you need card advantage. With more cards in your hand you increase your chances to have and answer to your opponents moves. If you have more cards in your hand then you can also force your opponent into not being able to answer you.

with {Necropotence} you can refill your hand every single turn, and pick up cards like {Drain Life}. That'll offset life lost, and make you extremely difficult to beat. Cards that generate insane card advantage have been routinely abused and banned. ({Skullclamp}, {Jace, the Mind Sculptor}, Brainstorm} ect.)

All you have to do is get your opponent down to 0 life. Life is a resource and you can always win by 1.
