What are the blackcleave cliffs for? I dont see anything that needs black... Am i just missing something?

Calebestes

Misspell.  I meant the other red green dual land....my bad.

It would help to know what to and why you lost. However taking a quick look, simberwald has little purpose, blessings is weaker than revenge.

Mono black control.  And the other deck I don't remember what it was.   Mana screwed on one. And the other went down to the wire.  He just made the right move.

Somberwald has gotten out turn 3 inferno Titan or prine

Not to be rude, but just because i can turn three {bonfire of the damned} for a billion in standard doesnt mean thats what i should build around. You have 4 titans total and 63 cards, the probability of not only getting those cards in your hand at the same time but also getting the sage to live long enough to so it is too low to justify them.

I highly recommend 23 land, a couple {elvish visionary} and cut to 60, aggro decks cant afford extra cards.

Oh and {strangleroot geist} instead of {titanic growth}, that just screams to be {vapor snag}ed or {doom blade}d to me.

On a seperate note, somberwald decks are awesome and if you want to go that route im all for it, but youll need 4 and more stuff to make use of it.

Coffee Vampire

Did you have a sideboard? Sideboards can really help to make a deck more versitile, especially if your deck is more than one color.

As for mono black, it has a tough time with enchantments, artifacts, and sometimes also plainswalkers. Black can molest creatures. And if it actually mono black control and not mono black aggro/vampires, it will have some hand disruption. Just play around it.

One creature/artifact combo that kills mono black is {Mirran Crusader} + {Batterskull}. Your opponent won't be able to get rid of the batterskull itself...nearly impossible. And the only way to kill the crusader would be to kill all your other creatures then make you sacrifice it, or to while the field with {Mutilate} or {Black Sun's Zenith}. It's like hexproof + unblockable + double strike + lifelink + vigilance all in one tasty package.

Mirran is a white card...I'm red green.  Uhhh I didn't build this deck around bonfire.  Somberwald can only be used with creatures.   So a turn 3 fatty is still pretty nasty.  Thrun + ranc + growth pretty much gonna kill whatever.   I also considered making this mono green with dungroves

Also are we all forgetting about green suns?

My deck is the one that bonfires for a billion, i was comparing the two. Mine gets top 4 minimum week after week because i dont build with rediculous possibilities that are awesome when they happen dictating my card choices. Yes turn three titan is good, i know i do it every fnm, but decks have to have overall stability based on probabilities of draw, mana, and opponent's response.

Mono green would be more consistent, but some match ups become an auto loss whenever playing mono color. I like the idea you have going, but it seems halfway between a frightingly fast somberwald aggro and a high resiliance red green aggro. My main recommendation is start tweaking closer to one or the other.

As this deck is that feels alittle slow, good card to keep in mind though.

Calebestes

I have 4 green suns in this deck.  Thought about putting 4 genisis wave in it and take out the mountains for forest.  So going towards a red green aggro deck what would I need to take out and add?
