If you plan on using trostani + archangel of thune + jarad, consider adding {korozda guildmage} and {cathars' crusade}.

Guildmage can sac a big wall for a bunch of 1/1 saprolings. Each saprolings will trigger cathars' crusade making all your creatures big. They each Enter the battlefield causing you to gain life. Archangel triggers pumping all your creatures even more. Now you can sac using jarad and kill your opponents.

{Increasing ambition} can be used to tutor for your combo pieces.

I don't get it. Why you actually play {Loxodon Warhammer}. +0/+0 lifelink trample?

It would technically add to his toughness for attacking plus giving lifelink for {archangel of thune}. Hope this clears that up for you

No it doesn't!
If you equip it to doran he will be a 3/5 and deal 5 damage. Not 8. He just says that the combat damage will be dealt equal the thoughness is but not that bump spells or abilities will bump reversed.

I know he won't deal 8 but the lifelink ability still applies. Which is the point with archangel of thune
