Your first deck

My first deck ever was a Rats/Mana burn deck. I still remember how my deck was "unbeatable" and probably turned 7 people away from Magic...before we really understood the rules.

It was the fastest, cheapest creatures before the concept of removal, resources, and advantages meant anything.

Mono black for sure as I've always liked black but damned if I remember what cards where in it.

Same but at the same times buddy built my deck for me so I couldn't really mess up with illegal plays I could post a version of the deck in I guess casual tommrrow If you like to see

The first deck i played was mono elves. The first deck that was mine though was the m10 {djinn of wishes} deck which i added 3xdjinn, 4x{nightscape familiar}, 4x{telling time}, 4x{ponder}, and as many big eldrazi as i could pick up as well as a few super strong cards i came across.
The first deck i homebrewed was a {elvish piper} give eldrazi gods haste on turn 3 or 4. It was called the christmas deck and made 4 people stop playing with me, 2 people quite, and my ex wait a full year before getting with me long enough to be called my ex.

The deck that I learned how to play magic on (which ended up being my first deck) was my friend's mono white deck from the divine vs demonic duel decks. I still have that deck lying around, and Akroma has a permanent place in my heart now.

New Phyrexia intro pack, the WG golems one. I had to change it to UW to keep up with my partner's flying deck, and I still play it now at FNM's albeit more token themed than just golems

My first deck was a 100+ card monstrosity. Basically all the cards I had. Running circle protections for all colors hoping to draw the right one I needed. {force of nature} and {cosmic horror} in the same deck. Of course nobody knew what they were doing so games were just who got the biggest creature out won. I can remember using circle protection like they were counter spells.

Close to my first deck! I started playing when New Phyrexia just came out, and built a bant-color golem + splicers deck. Ended up buying that same intro pack for the {blade splicer} and more {master splicer}s and {maul splicer}s

Ended up taking it apart but I kinda miss it now. I might have to pick up 4 new blade splicers somewhere and give it another try.

Revised time mono black. Was great to T1
{swamp} tap to {dark ritual} to {hypnotic specter}. Add a few {drudge skeletons} {will o the wisp} {wall of bone} for creatures. {terror} and {drain life} and {unholy strength} for spells. {rod of ruin} and {rack} rounded out the deck that's what I can remember. Oh yea and a {demonic tutor} after I got pressured into putting it in. I didn't realize how much it could help. I was 13 I think.
