Off the bat I'd say with +80 cards you're not as likely to see all those one-ofs in a game. Is that something you're going for?  Almost like a Highlander deck?

I try starting with the grixis starter from conflux but I can't figure out how to add on to it

I would cut to 60. It appears to be a kitchen table Grixis deck.

I agree with mana ramp...{dark ritual} FTW.  I like where the deck is going....looking good.  {Sheoldred, whispering one} and {It that betrays} combo so well together.....just a thought.  May even consider {buried alive} so you can reanimate

I like dark ritual and shelodred, whispering one,  but would it that betrays interfere with prince of thralls ability?
I like buried alive too but what if I added disentomb so I could bring back creatures for less mana then they would normally cost?

Good point about the Prince since it would be redundant to have It That Betrays.  I still say add Sheoldred since you can reanimate for free once a turn and they sac a creature once a turn.

Would I get rid of something like aether barrier to make space for dark ritual?

Maybe {cruel ultimatem} since it requires you to return a creature to your hand and you want to keep em in your GY....plus it is hard to cast
