Planechase 2012

Does anyone know how long the print run is for planechase 2012 is? I noticed the prices on amazon for the ninja deck has risen above $20.00 which is usually a sign that it is out of print. I am just curious so I know wether to wait for one to show up at target or pay the $13.00 markup on amazon.

Technically it is out of print.  Most likely they will do another round of printing.  And yea I was just happy to pay $25 for 2 ninja decks.

Thanks. Am I right in guessing that Planescape 2012 is the new replacement for what was Commander? The website shows planescape came out on June 1st so I am assuming it will run the same length as commander which seemed well over 2 months.

Planechase has actually been around for a while. It's just another multiplayer thing. I was just at my Walmart, they are still well stocked on planechase. Might grab another ninja deck before the end.

Every summer they release a multiplayer variant: Commander, Planechase, and Archenemy.

Mtg at walmart... I think there is about 4 shops in all off central* Stockholm that sells magic merchandise and only 2 are card shop oriented... You have no idea how lucky you north americans are.
*central including the closest connected suburbs.

Also if I remember correctly (and I often don't) instead of annual Premium Deck Series, they'll be doing Commander every year starting next summer, and then alternating Archenemy and Planechase.

I do too as well
