i was wondering does Manaforce Mace actually just work with the types like I get a +1/+1 for a swamp, a mountain, and so on and so forth, or do I get a +1/+1 for every swamp I have?

You will get +1 for each DIFFERENT basic land type you have in the battlefield.

So if you have 8 swamps, 3 mountains, and 6 islands, you will get +3. (1 for swamp, 1 for mountain, 1 for island.)

Yup, domain is strange mechanic. Terrible unless your deck is at least 4 colors, usually.  I think it was to help give people incentive to run 5 colors and actually try to play with {Progenitus}.

Use {lashwrithe} for swamps.

That seems like a good card.  How come I've never seen it played?  The equip 3 is a little pricy, but it thins you're deck out a little too.  Seems like it'd be good in a mono green ramp deck.  I've never seen that card. And it's a .30 rare?

Yeah it is like lashwrithe only not as fast...but it still has its advantages over it (like he ^ said...it is also lands your opponent controls!)

It's sitting right next to Sword of ___ and ____ for the same CMC and one less to equip.

It's a good cheapie for multiplayer, but it sux with a lot of non-basics.

Hmmm.... I've been toying around with a mono blue unblockable deck that it'd probably work pretty good in.  Along with {runechanters pike}.
