I'd post this in the Articles section. But I am unable.

Let's start with one of the more talked about ones:

What does Solar Flare mean?
The name "Solar Flare" stems from a reference to how {Angel of Despair} either does the DBZ maneuver "Solar Flare" or the artwork looked similar to Krillin. (who utilized the Solar Flare). While the exact reference is debatable, Solar Flare is essentially a tempo-based, mid-range control deck that plays like reanimator. Its capable of casting the spells (because it normally plays the Mana to hard cast it and is {W}{B}{U}), but doesn't pay the full cost if it doesn't have to. (which differs from Reanimator in that regard).

What does Mid-Range Mean?
Midrange deckbuilding strategies play control the first few turns and then win in the middle turns with high value threats ({Huntmaster of the Fells}, {Thragtusk} for current meta).

What does Reanimator mean?
Reanimator is a deck strategy that lends itself to the spell {Reanimate} and similar spells ({Animate Dead}, {Unburial Rites} (to which Solar Flare owes its creation), ect.) reanimator decks have evolved greatly over the years, but it mostly it involves dumping a creature you couldn't possibly pay for with your Mana base, then {Reanimating} it from the graveyard. Impossibly great cards by turn 2 (like {Inkwell Leviathan})

What is Zoo?
Zoo decks are an aggro based deck that include a battery of small creatures which self-buff . It gets its name from {Kird Ape}, {Loam Lion}, {Wild Nacatl}. Cards that look like animals you'd typically see in a Zoo. {Tarmogoyf} also is a must, cause his 2CMC typically buffs to a 4/5 of a 5/6 (which is never bad).

What is Tron?
A Tron deck is shorthand for an Urzatron deck, which uses the Urza land cards from the Antiquities or Chronicles expansions.

What is Rogue?
Rogue is any type of deck that isn't typically played in most metas. It benefits from knowing the meta, and planning against it. Very few people know how the deck works and how to beat it, because they've never seen it or didn't plan a sideboard against a matchup. It differs from homebrew only because it's a tourney level decks, or even a proven deck with favorable matchups that has lost popularity. ({Progenitus} decks in Legacy, {Birthing Pod} in Modern)

What is Junk?
"Junk" refers to a deck that is assembled by throwing all a formats most powerful cards together. It typically forgoes any type of synergies for raw power.

In recent years "Junk" has become a term for the {G}{W}{B} grouping, as Shards of Alara did not have a name for the group. The name mostly likely is a play on "Jund" {G}{R}{B}.

Does Exalted stack?

:( no one likes my article.
Also, no one likes me.
Guess its to be expected. I used my iPhone.

I liked the article! The only thing I play is casual, so a lot of these kinds of terms evade me, it was nice to catch up on some of the terms I see more often.

Edit: Also, you're awesome 👍

Tried a Haiku,
But I still forgot how to.

correction on solar flare. it was named after the use of the kamigawa dragons {yosei the morning star} {keiga the tide star} {kokusho the evening star}. star=sun. Each demanded immediate answers when reanimated. But their exit the battlefield abilities caused mayhem. hence solar flare. Other reanimation targets were chosen for their enter and exit the battlefield abilities.

I've by all accounts never heard this. I also can't admit to understanding how it relates to a solar flare. I've only ever heard the Krillin thing with {Angel of Despair}

scarsabrex

star=sun. they died and gave an effect therefore solar flare.
