Another Wild Defiance question

Gotcha gotcha that makes perfect sense. Ok now let's add something else. Say there's a {ratchet bomb} in play and it has 3 counters on it. What if in response of me targeting my 1/1 creature with {sheltering word} my opponent taps the ratchet bomb, adds that to the stack, and destroys {wild defiance}, does my creature still get the +3+3 buff after everything resolves?

yes once the ability goes on the stack it exists independently of the enchantment.

Anything put on the stack exists independently of its source.
