I don't mind taxes they are a necessary evil. I just don't think we need more government telling us what we can and cannot do.

Actually they were only necessary during a World war. Taxes were supposed to be temporary and te government would make money using countless other programs.

At that time yes but now there are so many other things offered by the government that they are necessary. Garbage pick up roads bridges parks and so on.

Idk if you have ever taken economics in school, but taxes have been around since the classical times. There really is no other way for the government to make enough money to function without turning communist. And back then it wasn't even heard of.

Fun Fact! American beer is not actually less alcoholic than Canadian beer. Americans measure by weight where as canadian is measured as volume and since alcohol is lighter than water our percentages come out higher, but it's actually usually around the same alcohol content per beer.
