I once had a play set of the power nine, i was playing at a friends house and a snow storm covered his house we was traped there for 3 weeks. After we ate all the food in the house and everyone elses magic cards all that was left was my power 9 cards, i knew what had to be done. So i grapped a frying pan and killed them all.

I have been thinking of buying one of the P9. I just don't know where to start. Maybe a Mox or a Time Walk... I think I would save the Lotus for last. They are just too expensive.

If you were going to buy a P9 which one would it be? Would you go Alpha or Beta or Unlimited.

At my first FNM I was playing with my unlimited lands. I young magic player asked if they were Beta... I had to explain that back in the day white border cards were less "cool" than the black border cards.

Always less cool.     Glad they got rid for them entirely.
Alpha aren't preferred because they have different corners and so are not legal for Eternal formats (although with the popularity of sleeves, that may have changed.).
