Does he have to resolve? It says when you cast not successfully cast. I thought it was when he hit the stack it triggered same with the other big guys.

He doesn't have to resolve. As soon as you put him on the stack, the extra turn will trigger on top of him.

lol when I say resolved i'm not talking in mtg terms. I mean the case is resolved, I can see how that would get confusing though.

nah i think resolved is fine, this was probably an exception since the big three eldrazi have their wonky when cast effects.
