It's really pretty fast. You can do Artifact Land, Artifact. Turn 2, Land, Artifact, Frogmite for free, {Thoughtcast} for {U}, {Frogmite} or anything else free. It's completely upgradable too, if you ever get some money for {Archbound Ravager} or {Blinkmoth Nexus}

Go even faster with {Ornithopter} and {Cranial Plating}, it has some real Legacy potential, and as is, a good Pauper deck.

Thanks I might try this.

B/R deck

{kiln fiend}
Random instant sorcereries
The red double strike spell or artifact
The instant black infect card and I think there is a artifact that does this.
{goblin tunler} or something else that gives unblock able.

I have T3 win with this basic deck

Decklist please?

Gorzo

I threw together a morbid agro standard (all innistrad block actually) deck that costs about 12 dollars and can play casually pretty comparatively. I doubt it'd survive tournament play, but It does just fine casually. I can go get it and make a deck list for you if you want. The only cards in it worth more than 20c are 2x {Mikaeus the Lunarch}, 1 {Mikaeus the unhallowed}, and 2 {Gavony township}s. and Lunarch and gavony are the only cards in the deck that use white, so you can take those out, lose a color, and drop the price of the whole deck to basically the cost of 1 Unhallowed Mickey.

You can make a decent Affinity deck for $30. Ive discussed it before.

Pauper Affinity

75 cards, 15 sideboard

4 {Vault of Whispers}
3 {Darksteel Citadel}
2 {Island}
3 {Great Furnace}
1 {Lonely Sandbar}
4 {Seat of the Synod}
1 {Ancient Den}

18 lands

4 {Frogmite}
4 {Myr Enforcer}
4 {Somber Hoverguard}
4 {Quicksilver Behemoth}

16 creatures

1 {Springleaf Drum}
4 {Thoughtcast}
2 {Serrated Arrows}
2 {Scale of Chiss-Goria}
3 {Chromatic Star}
4 {Chromatic Sphere}
1 {Æther Spellbomb}
4 {Lotus Petal}
2 {Reaping the Graves}
3 {Rush of Knowledge}

26 other spells

Sideboard

1 {Reaping the Graves}
2 {Sunbeam Spellbomb}
2 {Diabolic Edict}
2 {Serrated Arrows}
4 {Hydroblast}
4 {Pyroblast}

15 sideboard cards

Tops out around $40? It's a pauper deck, so everything is printed at Common rarity
1. Why {Lonely Sandbar}?
2. Why all of the color fixing/ramp?
3. What would you add to this?

Dudecore

1. cycling, and a blue land.
2. They're artifacts to enable Affinity, play quicker and get blue {Thoughtcast}, {Rush of Knowledge}, sideboard spells.
3. I'd add {Cranial Plating} if you're not playing pauper (as its banned) and other better Artifacts (like {Mox Opal}, {Ornithropter})

What do you think of {Master of Etherium}?
Also thanks for showing me this.

Dudecore

He's good, if you're playing Legacy {Stoic Rebuttal} isn't a bad counterspell, {Etched Champion}, and if it's casual {Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas} is a slam dunk.

Affinity lends itself to Customizability, you can really tune it the to your playstyle, question is always "how much are you looking to spend?"

A competetive non-standard deck for under $50.00.
Would the list you gave me updated with {Cranial Plating} and {Ornithopter} be playable as a legacy deck?

Dudecore

Every Legacy affinity I've ever played against would have 4 {Arcbound Ravager}, 4 {Etched Champion}, 4 {Galvanic Blast}, 2-3 {Mox Opal}.

But they also all have 4 {Cranial Plating} and 4 {Ornithropter}. So it's a good start, and might be good enough in your local meta.

Affinity regularly loses to Merfolk, Burn, Reanimator, and Zoo. It doesn't appear that your friends are running those decks.

"Non-standard" is a misleadinding term. Do you mean Legacy? Or more casual/modern? Because from what I understand about legacy is that you big dough to really compete, with "budget" elf decks still running over $150. And the "good" decks are a couple thousand.

Modern/casual is a different story, you can get a good deck going for 50.

Thorn

I am looking for a deck that will not lose pathetically to legacy, modern, or casual decks.
