Tips, tricks and edits for political puppets pre con

Okay guys so I'm buying the political puppets pre con and want some inside info from people who've played it before.

Any comments/suggestions welcome

I disagree. Granted, the precon isn't as strong as, say, heavenly inferno, but like a diamond in the rough, the essentials are in there. It's a deck to build off of, rather than use straight from the box.

Some things to improve on to make the deck better (in my opinion):
1) instant/sorcery fetch and restore. Your tricks are your lifeblood, so stuff like {Mystical Tutor} and {Long-Term Plans} will help you get what you need, while things like {Mnemonic Wall} and {Archaeomancer} will nab them from the grave for repeated uses.

2) stuff you don't care who controls. {Howling Mine} for example - doesn't matter who controls it, you gain the benefit. Blanket effects like that are perfect gifts to give with {Zedruu the Greathearted}.

3) counterspells. You need to be very controlling as a political puppet deck, so you'll need more of these. There are lots of good ones to choose from. {Rewind}, {Counterlash}, {Time Stop}, and so on. I like {spell burst} and {forbid} with their buy backs, as expensive as the cost may be. {capsize} is an important control tool also.

Trevor and hays yes I understand out of box it's bad but Gorzo I think is right it needs the proper TLC before it'll work properly.

It think that PP really depends strongly on your group.  It's really bad in my group, because players are really uncooperative. 

"If you don't target me with and burn spell for the next two turns, I'll give you 5 live and a {Fog Bank}."
"No deal."
Then they get attacked and die for lack of blockers.

This is why I revamped it to Group Hug, but I think I'm going to go with Bear Hug instead. 
"Your getting this hug whether you like it or not!"

Its changed since, I'd say evolved, but that implies some sort of improvement process.

Added goofy stuff like:

{Cultural Exchange}
