The sideboard hasn't been entirely made yet, but yes... MBC with w/ Scars of Mirrodin AND M13, this deck is going to be SO much fun =] It's pretty dumb... I just slightly tweaked the list from my Zendikar block build. It's really frekin' good...

Yeah, I already had an MBC deck, which is actually what this is, just with some cards being replaced by Standard-Legal stuff. I just wanted to name it something slightly different than just MBC. Besides, {Murder} isn't good yet, not with {Doom Blade} and {Go For the Throat} still legal.

Yeah. I was just messing around with you. The only thing I like about {murder} is that it doesn't care if it's a black, or artifact critter.

I like it a lot, it just straight up {Murder}s, no drawbacks =] Us Black Mages needed {Murder}, it will have it's time.

Any play testing? Why no Mutilate? This seems like a kind of aggro-control, i've been trying to make something like this.
Maybe Curse of Deaths Hold against some of the weenie decks also?

It is Aggro-Control, the only control I can properly play! Lol, but for real, Curse in the board seems pretty legit, I have a few slots I can move around. As far as playtesting goes, not too much has been done, my buddy and I are going to try to tweak it tomorrow at FNM to possibly fit in some {Mutilate}s, that card is so good.

Bump. Deck has been tweaked, tons of playtesting... Most recently, 5-2 at a big tourney, proud of it, crushed 2 W/U Delvers. Trying to fit in 1 more {Mutilate} and {Sign in Blood}, it's hard to make cuts at this point though. {Black Sun's Zenith} stays in the main over a 3rd {Mutilate}, the choice on board wipe matters in all honesty, a 1/1 Obliterater equipped with {Lashwrithe} is better than a dead Obliterater.

Tl;dr: This deck, is by far, my favorite deck that I have ever made/played with in Standard.

What do you think of {Alter's Reap}? Usually I wouldn't consider it but with geralfs messenger and the rat chumps, I don't think it would be such a bad idea.

I prefer Life Loss over the Loss of a guy in this deck. I have considered that card, it' really good! Especially if I want to equip Lashwrithe when he still has a token. But {Sign in Blood} seems a little better.
