{murder} would not have been OP if it was just {B}{B} IMO.  I think that 3 CMC makes it worthless.  White gets artifact/enchantment removal and the best creature removal spells in the game WTF?

I'm honestly not really experiencing any problems with removal, just the board whipes kill me.

Considering you only have 7 land and 2 other artifacts to make blue mana......{mana leak} may be your best option.  Especially since a board wipe generally will not be leaving your opponent with 3 mana open.

End game mana leaks are almost useless in legacy as mana can be produced fairy easily.

The two blue isn't that hard to get with the Moxes.

Like you said. There's always answers to answers to answers. I am trying to make it so I have that very last answer.

Such as. Kill my champs, vaultskirge with cranial plating. Board whipe? Tezzeret kills. They have some big dudes out, go for the throat. Board whipe with no tezzeret, bonfire me?! Counterspell stops that.

went up against a pro legacy player last night. Full set up of playsets of unlimited dual lands and jitte. Nasty nasty. Held him for quite some time. But he turned off a lot of my kill plans. Sideboarded Counterspell. Won.
