I was in a situation last FNM like this.  I'm not saying you will win this game but I had my back against the wall in r3 and r4 down 1-0 facing elimination and managed to get back in the game and I ended up winning out! Have faith

Ok so we play Swiss.  But since we only play 4 rounds if you lose like go 3-1 it's not guaranteed that you will place.  I always aim for first no matter what, so losing in an early round bumps you to 3rd or lower.  Even losing the very last round against the winner doesn't guarantee 2nd place.  Strength of opponents, etc.
