Just outta curiosity, why is it good for or against mill? Or is it just that it's a great blocker in general so mill can use it?

Good blocker to keep those agro decks at bay, while you mill them to death.

Good question. It's a cheap effective flying defender. It buys time for slower decks like control and mill.
