{Thrun, the last trol}

If you copy with say {phantasmal image} or {phyrexian metamorph} and kill it by way of legendary rule can it still regenerate?

Thorn

No I think the legend rule exiles.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't exile cause people copy my glissa all tge time and they both go to the graveyard

Legend rule doesn't exile. I think it's forced sacrifice, to work around indestructible and regen. I think, anyway. If/when Señor Jester sees this, he'd know better
Buenos dias!  (good work on the tilde btw)

It's not exiled, sacrificed, or destroyed.  It's just put in the gy as a rule, just like PW with 0 loyalty.  Neither indestructibility, shroud/hexproof, nor {Sigarda, Host of Herons} will save it.  The only way is to prevent the rule: {Mirror Gallery}.

when a creature goes from battlefield to GY it 'died' even by legend rule.

So if it is not exiled, sacrificed, or destroyed; and it is put into the gy as a rule. Does it actually "die" and activate morbid?

I know the rule about things going to the gy dying. But I didn't know if this held up with the legend rule. If so, please post rule reference. I will begin looking.

BlackJester

Exile is removed from the BF into exile, so it doesn't die. If a creature goes to the gy from the battlefield for any reason at all, it's said that it died.

700.6. The term dies means "is put into a graveyard from the battlefield." It is used only when referring to creatures.
