{smallpox} + descent isnt a bAd deck its just meant to slow them down and control them until you has your combo to win. {havengul lich} + {heartless summoning} + {priest of urabosk} = lots of red mana.. Then {devils play} or {fireball} or {bonfire of the damned} them for 5000 XD

Good idea! But which would occur first? The barren or the madness? Could you choose the order?

you would have to wait an entire turn after descent into madness cleaned up everything else. also you would have to have a perfect number of permanents.

Haha of course the bottom but I wasn't sure if you were able to choose the order or there was a certain priority assigned to one of them based on the conditions.

jester i don't think barren glory will even trigger unless you have the 0 other permanents.

and to complicate matters you have to get rid of the card you drew the turn you exiled descent into madness

That is very true! Bc you'd need enough counters to exile your lands, exile all enchantments other than barren. I don't you'd get enough counters unless you decide to not do anything for a couple of turns, but even then it would spiral into an outrageous number by then. You'd need to calculate from before you even play the madness what you are gunna do.

it can work without suspend as well, it's all about timing.
