What is the buzz, surrounding Dark Acension. All I have heard is that it will have a new Sorin Plainswalker and more 16th./17th. Century monsters (e.g Innistrad). Can someobe fill us in on what to expect for Feburary.

GoJuDragon

ive herd a rumor about a black-black white sorin. a flip, one side black, the other black white, kinda like the flip garruk in innistrad. im not sure if its trie or just a rumor tho. im sure there will be a sorin in the set tho because wizards has released what the sleeves/playmats/deck boxes will lok like and they all have sorin.

Can't escape it!

What about the third set's name? Avacyn Restored?

Vampires, werewolves, and zombies are obviously where the money is at right now since they are everywhere in pop culture, and Magic would be stupid to not capitalize on that. I personally hate all these tribal sets. To each their own. So I foresee the next few sets to follow that trend. Boooo.

I'm not sure they'll ever move away from Tribal sets. The way MaRo talks in his columns at least it's not for a while yet, anyway.

I like idea of this W/B Planeswalker. He already has a W/B ability on his first card. âš BUTâš  if this were the case, there would have to be more duality between the two colours, which I don't see happening due to the flavour of White and Black in Innistrad. Granted there is already {Isolated Chapel} and {Village Cannibals} in a White Weenie deck but I can't see much more happening.

(Can you tell I wont it to happen after rambling about it. I love Orzhov!!!)
